Bible Study Tour

Canada in Prophecy

Presented by: Gerald E. Weston, Evangelist

The world is faced with trying times. Economies around the globe are reeling as deep recessions set in. The threat of pandemic, wars and rumours of wars can be seen in the news almost daily. Can anyone make sense of this rising turmoil in world events? Does Bible prophecy show the future of the world, and specifically, the future of Canada? Gerald E. Weston has prepared a free Bible Study tour to explain to the peoples of Canada exactly what the Bible has to say about their future!

About the Presenter: Gerald E. Weston

At the age of 16 Gerald Weston came to see that many of the teachings he grew up with were at odds with the Bible. He came to discover that "mainstream Christianity" was built more on tradition and the ideas of men than on what the Bible actually teaches. Rejecting the religion of his birth, he entered Ambassador College in Pasadena, California in 1965 where he was taught personally by Mr. Herbert W. Armstrong, and Dr. Roderick C. Meredith who is currently the Presiding Evangelist of the Living Church of God.

Following graduation, he was ordained an Elder in 1971 and worked faithfully as a field minister for over 25 years. In 1998, he was appointed the Regional Pastor for 11 upper Midwestern US states. Because of his extensive experience working with youth, in August of 1999, he was also appointed North American Youth Development Director. Mr. Weston has written for several church publications including Tomorrow's World, and Living Church News.

In 1998, Mr. Weston was asked by Dr. Meredith to serve as a member on the Council of Elders; in 2001 he was appointed President and Regional Director of the Living Chuch of God in Canada, and in 2007 he was ordained an Evangelist. He and his wife, Carol, reside in Mississauga, Ontario where he oversees the Canadian headquarters of the Church.

The Church Behind the Telecast

People realize that Tomorrow's World telecast explains world events from a prophetic viewpoint, but they sometimes wonder: "Where did they get their ideas?" and "How can they afford to produce a telecast and send out literature free of charge?"

The answers are simple: the Tomorrow's World telecast is backed by the Living Church of God, which teaches the same truths you hear on the telecast - truths backed entirely by your Bible, not by the superstitions and fanciful misconceptions so common in religion today. The Church consists of thousands of generous individuals who faithfully give tithes and offerings to make this Work possible. They are joined by thousands of co-workers who, though not members of the Church, appreciate its message and want to do their part to help the Gospel of the Kingdom of God be preached to the world as a witness.

The Church is active in North and South America, Europe, Asia, Africa and Australia, and in addition to the Tomorrow's World telecast sponsors similar programs in French and Spanish. The Church has scores of ordained ministers and more than 300 local congregations around the globe.
